A simple easy to use software, designed to help pregnant expectant mothers to accurately
measure the labor contractions without the need for a paper and pen! So whether
your at home, in the garden or out with friends, this simple tool will help you
monitor and calculate how far apart your contractions are and when you should leave
for the Hospital. Contraction Calc is currently available as an application for
the Blackberry Smart Phone with a host of features and as a simple free lightweight
online version on this website. |

About Contraction Calc development: |

Like so many of these ideas, Contraction Calc was actually developed as my wife
prepared for my daughter’s birth, she wanted to have something on hand to measure
the contractions. In our hospital classes we were explained the procedure to calculate
the timing of the contractions, but this made things more stressful to work out.
So after doing some research online, I found all Contraction Timer & Trackers apps
were written for the iPhone & iPod Touch devices only. However as we had an active
user base of friends & family on the Blackberry, I engaged a developer and decided
to launch Contraction Calc so that she would find it easier to record & calculate
her contractions on the Blackberry. A simple to use Contraction / Labor Counter
